About

New York City-based DJ, producer and remixer GATTÜSO (AKA Reem Taoz), has quickly made a name for himself on the global dance music scene. He hit the ground running in summer 2018 and in just over a year’s time he signed an exclusive record deal with legendary dance label, Ultra Music.

Appearing 4x’s on the Billboard Dance Radio chart, his songs have been streamed over 500 million times on Spotify and Apple Music, released on Armada, Enhanced Music, Spinnin Records, Future House Music, Ultra Records, and regularly featured on top editorial playlists around the world including Apple Music’s Dance XL and Breaking Dance, Amazon’s Fresh Dance and Nectar, as well as a host of Spotify’s global dance lists.

He received strong support on his remixes for both Sam Feldt and R3HAB, who’s hit “Lullaby” with Mike Williams, propelled GATTÜSO to the cover of Spotify’s influential “Mint” playlist. His music has been endorsed by top artists such as Tiesto, R3HAB, Galantis, Sam Feldt, Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, and many more.

GATTÜSO’s collaboration with Disco Killerz, “Million Things,” topped the Billboard Dance Radio Airplay and Mediabase charts, was the #1 EDM song of the week on Music Choice, and named a Sirius XM “BPM Breaker.” Capitalizing on a great upward momentum, his follow up “When In Rome” again rose to the top of the charts. In April 2020, his debut release, “Walk On Water feat. Kat Nestel” on Ultra Records charted Top 40 on both industry charts, Billboard Dance Radio and Mediabase. His first release of 2022, “Afterglow” with Nicky Romero and Jared Lee, on Protocol Records, rapidly climbed to the top of the US dance radio charts.

His collaboration with R3HAB, “Creep,” was the first official Mint Single, in the exclusive Spotify Singles series, and was featured on 40 New Music Fridays around the world. The song has been streamed over 100 Million times to date. Subsequent records include well received collaborations with Steve Aoki w/ MKLA and Aukoustics, DVBBS & Alida, as well as Laidback Luke. Over the past year, he has slowly moved his sound towards dark, melodic house, while preserving elements of future rave and the sonic brand that brought him initial recognition.

Jumping from the studio to the DJ booth, GATTÜSO brings his unique take on house music to an electrifying performance on the stage, delivering the perfect balance of commercial dance music and hard club tracks. He is currently a resident at Atlantic City’s HQ2 nightclub, and has toured extensively throughout North America, including MainStage festival appearances at Escapade, Chasing Summer, and Electric Zoo. In March 2023, he opened Miami’s newest nightclub, M2, alongside Morten and 2023 dates include Sunsation Festival in Quebec, July 4th weekend shows with Steve Aoki, as well as two headline shows at NY’s LAVO nightclub.
